Tarot & Moldavite

Moldavite is associated with the Star card of the Tarot. Moldavite is the most powerful stone for spiritual development. Your life will rapidly transform once you acquire Moldavite .

Moldavite activates all the chakras but it mostly activates heart, third eye and crown chakra. Moldavite is a very high vibrational stone and many people are not able to handle it’s energy. Its better to use Moldavite with grounding stones such as quartz or hematite.

About 20 million year ago a meteorite fell in the Moldau valley of Czechoslovakia .The result of this was a rare green translucent stone. Moldavite is a rare stone from outer space and has some extraterrestrial properties. It is also known as alien stone and can be used to contact with extra terrestrial beings. There are lots of fake Moldavite available so buy it with caution.

Moldavite helps to release all that is no longer needed-ideas, habits and relationships that no longer serve your higher purpose. Moldavite can either be kept on third eye while meditating or it can also be worn as a pendant to keep it close to heart chakra.

Uses of Moldavite

  •  Lucid Dreaming
  • Channelling
  • Inner Journeys
  • Astral Projection
  • Meditation
  • Spiritual Growth
  • Transformation

I was able to get a very small piece of Moldavite so earlier I was not sure if it will work but I was curious. I started keeping Moldavite with me regularly.
For the first two days the vibration was very high. I was having a very strong sensation in my heart and it was like I am drunk and very dizzy. Moldavite was doing its job. In the night I meditated with it by placing it on my third eye and had strong sensation in my third eye chakra too.

I became more spiritual. I am no longer interested in gossips and read and learn about spirituality whenever I get time .I feel as if I am on the right path and following my life purpose .Moldavite has helped me in my tarot studies too.

Overall my experience with Moldavite has been very helpful so far. I will update my experience with Moldavite in coming days soon.

I would love to know about your experiences with Moldavite.

Music Therapy

Music has always inspired each and every one of us in some or the other way. Music relaxes us. We all have noticed that when we are stressed, listening to a beautiful piece of music brings peace and happiness. Music can be an excellent medicine and a support system for healing physical, mental and emotional problems.

There are many genres of Music but which genre will heal and sooth you depends on your need and taste of music. The ambient/chill/down tempo/new age music has been found to have the most healing and soothing effect. Personally, I feel very relaxed and calm when I listen to some music after a stressful day

When we meditate on music for some time our mind enters into higher states of consciousness which are as follows:

Alpha Waves : range between 7-12 Hz

In alpha state, we are very relaxed yet alert. One becomes aware of the bodily sensations. This state unlocks the body-mind capability to heal itself. We are more creative in this state. The alpha state releases the growth hormones beneficial for healing and regeneration.

Beta Waves:range between 13-40 Hz

This is a state of heightened mental activity and peak concentration. This state prepares us for quick response to external events.

Theta Waves: range between 4-7 Hz

This is a state of deep meditation. This state is also generated during periods of REM sleep which is the time when we see dreams.

This state occurs during periods of deep sleep. Lama Buddhists are trained to consciously enter into Theta and Delta states of consciousness.

Music for healing and relaxation

Here are few tips on how we all can use music for healing and relaxation:-

1. Lie down in a comfortable position on floor or on a couch. Switch on any kind of relaxing music and take 20 minutes sound bath. This will wash away all your stress. It can be done every day at any time.

2.Music that has repeating pattern (like slow trance music) has been found very effective for relaxation.

3.Nature sounds are very relaxing(ocean waves, birds chirping, waterfall etc).Try taking a  20 minutes walk if you are near the seashore. There are lots of music CDs available which are specially designed for this purpose.

4.While listening to music try to focus on your breath. Focus on how your stomach pulls out when you inhale and goes in when you exhale. It’s completely fine if you sleep while meditating on music. This will relax your body deeply.

Try to meditate on music for approximately 15 minutes every day and you will soon experience less stress and more energy in your life.

Happy Listening!!

How Tarot Works?

Tarot is a divination, psychological and analytical tool. Tarot not only helps us divine the future, it also helps us to create our future through knowledge. Tarot can change lives by making us aware about the choices and patterns of outcomes. It helps us to look into the inner workings of our own lives and gain new perspectives. Have you ever thought about how Tarot works? The truth is that no one knows for sure. Readers have different theories on how Tarot Works. I  searched online and asked some Tarot readers about how they feel Tarot works. There are many theories that can be used to explain how it works.

  1. Synchronity:The credit for this theory goes to Carl Jung. Synchronicity can be defined as moments of “meaningful coincidences”. Jung never used Tarot cards but he used to work with I Ching. In I Ching (like Tarot) a random generation method is used to draw out a hexagram (which has keywords) or series of hexagrams and the spread is interpreted. Synchronicity was used by Jung to explain the unusual accuracy of I Ching. When two or more events seem to be related but cannot be adequately explained by cause and effect, the theory for how and why the events occur together is synchronicity. These meaningful coincidences related to similar events, that occur simultaneously, that have no cause and effect relationship but were highly unlikely to have occurred by chance. So in a tarot reading why a particular card comes in a particular position in a spread for a client and gives the answer to his/her question which makes sense? In a spread the randomness of the cards becomes not so random. The spread and the cards have a meaning. These meanings cause simple coincidences to give way to Synchronicity.
  2. Collective unconscious:-Carl Jung popularized the concept of collective unconscious. Jung believed that each of us has a personal conscious where in all the knowledge and memories of our personal experiences in current life resides. Below the personal conscious is the personal unconscious which contains the memories which we have forgotten or repressed .The Tarot cards can reveal through their imagery such repressions. Outside the personal conscious and unconscious we have super conscious where our higher self resides along with the records of past lives and all that we have learned. The super conscious is also our connection with the divine and can be accessed through deep meditation and hypnosis. The collective unconscious can be also linked to Akashic Records. The symbols on Tarot cards can help us tap into the collective unconscious of the seeker and inform about what he/she wants to know. An archetype is a primal pattern of thought, inborn and imprinted on every human’s subconscious mind. According to Carl Jung we are all programmed to look for archetypes in our everyday lives, because they work as a framework for our understanding of the world-for example –the hero, the wild old man, the maiden etc. This also helps in understanding the psychological aspects of a tarot reading as psychology has a great impact on how we live our life. A tarot reader who is attuned to his/her tarot deck will integrate his/her energy into the cards by shuffling so that the deck can draw appropriate cards. The cards are also given to seeker/reader for shuffling so that the cards can be imbued with the client’s energies and collective unconscious. When a tarot reader is able to tap into collective unconscious he/she can perform distance readings. It is on tarot reader’s preference whether to give face to face or distance/email/phone readings.
  3. Magick: Some people believe that Tarot works through magick. Tarot cards work through spiritual intervention. When we ask a question, shuffle the cards and lay them out in a spread our hands are divinely guided by God, Goddess, Angels, and Fairies to pull the right cards in the right spread to give the right message to reader/client. The cards are a mere medium through which the spirit/divine world communicates with us. Some people think tarot cards are evil and satanic. The truth is tarot cards are just paper and ink. The real magick is not in the cards. The real magick is in the tarot reader.

Some people say that Tarot reading is nothing but a cold reading. Some fake psychics/ clairvoyants/tarot readers claim that they can read thoughts of  others .They give fake readings by analyzing person’s body language, age, clothing , hairstyle, religion, race, gender, ethnicity, manner of speech, facial expression. They use certain phrases which can be applied to each and every person and the person who has come for the reading believes them to be true. Cold reading does exist but it is nowhere near to the real Tarot reading which can transform an individual’s life. There is no doubt that body language and seeker’s response can help a Tarot reader to check if the seeker can make sense of the reading and also if he/she is gaining something by it. True tarot readers use body language and responses in a more ethical way only to help the seeker/client. Tarot readings do work whether the seeker is present in front of reader or he/she is miles away. A true tarot reading given in front of the client/seeker will be as effective as an email tarot reading given to him miles away. If tarot reading is just cold reading how does it work when seeker/client is miles away and reader cannot see the body language, facial expressions and the responses of the client. Now this also depends on the knowledge and expertise of a tarot reader.

Conclusion There are many theories on how tarot works-collective unconscious, synchronicity, magick. Regardless of the explanation on how it works, the truth is Tarot works and works for good. I myself use tarot for self-development, personal growth and to read for others and the message given by tarot cards is always helpful and transforming.

Would love your findings on how you think Tarot works!!

In the last article we discussed about some divination methods like Tarot, Runes and I-Ching. Let’s talk about some more divination methods.

  1. Scrying/Crystal Gazing: Scrying has been used in many cultures to know about the past, present and future. Crystal gazing involves seeing things supernaturally in a medium such as crystal, stones, glass or mirrors and divining the future. The very well-known tool used for scrying is the Crystal ball. When staring a crystal ball the information comes from spirits, psychic mind or the subconscious. Crystal Gazing is not only for gifted people. It can be learnt with practice. The gazing is in the mind. Crystal is just a tool to activate your intuition and psychic abilities.
  2. Lithomancy:Lithomancy involves divining future by casting stones/crystals. There can be some approaches used when using Lithomancy. Stones can be assigned a “yes” and “no”. For example black stone can be assigned “yes” and white stone can be assigned “no”. The stones are then casted. The stone that lands closest to you is the answer. The stones can also be casted on a grid. The grid can be a specific chart like astrological chart, bagua or simple circle in which each direction has a particular meaning. A group of stones or crystals are selected and then casted onto the grid. The patterns are then interpreted as they relate to each other in the layout.
  3. Tea Leaf Reading: Tea Leaf Reading originated from China. Concentration is very important for the reader to see beyond the symbols. The seeker is asked to stir the loose tea and then place it in a cup. Tea should only be stirred with a spoon. Hot water is then added and the seeker thinks about the future while stirring it. The reader can now read the signs which show during the stirring. For example if bubbles float on the top it can mean money coming to the seeker. The seeker then drinks the tea but leaves a small amount at the bottom of the cup. The reader can then also read the signs from the tea which is left in the cup. The longer the seeker holds the cup and concentrate, the better the reading will be.

7. Coffee Cup Reading:Just like tea leaf reading future can also be divined by Coffee Cup Reading. To read from coffee cup coffee should be drunk only from one side of the cup. When coffee is finished the saucer is placed on top of the cup. While saucer still covering, the cup is held at the chest level and turned counter-clockwise a few times. The cup is then turned upside down on the saucer and left to cool. Once cool the cup is opened and the shapes are interpreted for divination.

Hope you find these introductions to divination methods helpful in choosing the method you want to learn.

Q.What will be the effect of demonetization of 1000/500 rupee notes on people?

As most people in India are being effected by decision of demonetization of 1000/500 rupee notes , I did a Tarot reading for the same to check whats in store and would like to share the reading with you.I shuffled that cards while asking, ” what will be the effect of demonetization of 1000/500 rupee notes on people?” and pulled 3 cards. The spread that I had chosen was Background, problem and advice spread. The cards that I pulled :-

Background:  4 of pentacles
Problem:         6 of cups
Advice:            7 of wands

The four of pentacles in the background position shows people getting both miser and possessive about money. As we can see in this card that the person is holding on to his money, holding two under his feet, one on his head and one in his arms. He is getting very possessive about his money. So the people who were hoarding black money will be effected. Also middle class people will try to save money and spend the money sparingly(no money in bank/ATMs).People will try other ways to hoard money and will be having security concerns. An overall tense situation.

The six of cups is a positive card when it comes to money but as it is in the problem position,it shows that many people will be unwilling or unable to adapt to the changing circumstances. Some people will feel that this is not the right decision. Some will not be happy with this change and will not be happy with this decision.People might feel that they were in a better position earlier as they will be facing problems in giving and taking of money and doing transactions.

The advice of the seven of wands is to be hopeful and not to give up.The card suggests to stand-up for yourself, be patient and courageous. We need to disperse negative attitudes that weaken us and avoid negative people.Though we have to stand in long queues since last three days, no money in ATMs and post offices, chaos  and tension everywhere…we need to be patient and should not conflict over money at this time. The question is –Do we get beaten down by this and become cynical, pessimistic or do we see this as a part of life and be bold and face it? This is a change for better.

If we calculate the numbers on all three cards, we get the card 17 Star  and card 8 which is the Strength card:-

The Star card is a very positive card. This is a card of renewed hope, inspiration and promises improvement in the financial situation. There are challenges  and we are feeling discouraged but there is hope too.

The  Strength card suggests us to be courageous and bold at this time.We need to be both like the lady who can tame the beast (lion) and also be fearless and brave like the lion in this situation.Hope we get out of this situation soon.

I think this situation has also shown us how valuable money is!!

How wonderful it can be to be able to see the future! Divination can help us to make practical decisions in life such as whether to take a new job or whether to continue with a particular relationship etc. Besides predicting the future Divination can be used as a tool for personal growth and transformation. The word Divination comes from the Latin word “divi” which means “deity”. Divination is the means by which we can communicate with the divine. The more we work with divination the more we come to know that future is not setup in stone. We can actually see what lies ahead and change it accordingly to a certain extent. We can then make conscious choices to achieve a certain outcome. When used as a tool for personal growth and transformation divination acts as our personal psychologist who brings our thoughts, fears and feelings from subconscious to conscious level so that they can be worked upon. There are numerous methods of divination. We will discuss a few each time.

  • Tarot Cards: – Originally tarot cards were used for card games as well as for divination. Tarot provides psychological, spiritual and practical insight through 78 cards. The client asks the question and the tarot reader shuffles and lays the card and gives the reading. The number of cards in a layout can be 1, 3, 5,7,10 and more depending on the type of spread. There are many tarot decks available in the market today but the beginner deck should be Rider-Waite deck.

Tarot is also used for meditation and path working. Oracle cards do come under the category of Tarot cards but a tarot deck is not a tarot deck unless it has 78 cards. Oracle cards normally consist of 60-65 cards which have messages from Angels, Gods and Goddesses. We ask a question, shuffle the cards and pull 1-3 cards which have the answer to that question. Oracle cards are excellent for angel therapy.

  • I Ching/Book of Changes: – I Ching is a Chinese system of divination. It provides guidance based on the spiritual wisdom of nature as interpreted by Lao Tzu. I Ching is used in the form of book of interpretations of 64 different hexagrams. I Ching uses the binary logic of yin/yang. The hexagram is created by tossing three coins six times. Each toss of the coin creates one of the six lines in the hexagram. The hexagrams are then explained & predicted using a nature metaphor. The I Ching provides insight into the longer term effects of the immediate emotions or actions.

3) Rune Stones:-Rune means “secret” or “mystery”. The system comprises of 24 runes. Runes are Scandinavian oracular alphabets, said to have been given to the God Odin after he made sacrifice of hanging upside down for nine days on the Ygdrissil tree. Each letter has a magical and prophetic meaning, a name and sound. Each rune is carved on a circular stone/wood. All runes are put in a bag. One or more runes are then drawn from the bag which provides insight and guidance. Most common practice is to draw three runes for past, present and future.
